CRI

What is this study about?

Colic affects up to 20% of babies in the first 3 months of life, yet the cause of colic isn’t known. The CRI Study would like to test a new baby formula to see if it will help fussing and crying in babies who have colic and who are not being breastfed.

Would my child and I be able to take part?

If your baby:

  • Is under 2 months old

  • Has colic, or cries and fusses a lot, AND

  • Is being formula fed

You may be eligible to take part in this study.

What would my child and I have to do?

This study involves providing babies with colic with one of two formulas for 6 weeks to see if it helps improve their crying and fussing. You will be asked to take part in up to five 30 minute appointments, which can be done in your home or at our study offices, as well as a few brief telephone interviews.
